Our Mission
To advance the quality and accessibility of outpatient cardiac catheterization services through peer-to-peer education, clinical research, legislative advocacy, and the development of universal quality standards.

Goals 

  • Standardize the quality of clinical services provided in outpatient cardiac catheterization laboratories.

  • Provide advocacy for members on regulatory issues that affect the delivery of outpatient cardiac catheterization services, and collaborate with other cardiovascular advocacy associations as appropriate on common goals.

  • Collect, analyze and share clinical data that helps improve quality of care in cardiac catheterization service delivery.

  • Achieve 100 percent national accreditation of COCA membership, acting as a resource and providing assistance to members seeking accreditation.

  • Advance the treatment of patients at risk for cardiovascular disease through the development and oversight of clinical trials.

  • Serve as a resource to members in the sharing of clinical data and operational best practices.
